Service Designer & Strategist

Hi, I'm Caleigh
To me, design is more than just a craft; it's a powerful tool for championing the needs of people. My focus is on breaking down barriers, easing cognitive load, and challenging societal stigmas while shedding light on the diverse experiences of those navigating our world.
The details of much of my work is confidential, as it deals with personal healthcare experiences. Please contact me for details regarding my experience.
In the meantime, here's what I can share with you, though!
Over the last few years, I've been very fortunate to work with companies advocating for better experiences and services for those navigating the healthcare sector. I have extensive experience conducting service design, workshops, and research in house and as a consultant.

My strength lies in advocating for the experiences of patients and providers alike, while making evidence-informed design decisions.
My Design Practice
Creating a happier and healthier world by advocating for the holistic needs of people at all stages of the process.

Wellbeing Advocacy
I emphasize the creation of experiences that prioritize people's physical, mental, and emotional health. It involves designing services that not only meet people's needs but also contribute positively to their overall wellbeing: reducing cognitive load, eliminating barrier to access, and creating less anxiety-induced processes.

Truly Human Centered Design
Understanding the diverse needs, perspectives, and experiences of people is a cornerstone to my process. By truly immersing myself in the lived experiences of the prioritized populations, this methodology ensures that services are not only functional and usable but also deeply resonate with the human aspect, fostering empathy, connection, and inclusivity.

Mindful Research Practices
I believe in conducting research with intentionality, empathy, and ethical considerations. In service design, this means approaching research activities with a focus on deep understanding, respect for participants and their lived experiences, and awareness of potential biases. It ensures that insights gathered are meaningful, accurate, and ethically obtained, leading to more informed and responsible design decisions.
